Commissions
If you have a particular wild animal or bird subject that you are interested in, either for yourself, or a relative or friend, you might consider commissioning a picture to fit your requirements. Contrary to popular belief, it (usually) costs no more to commission a picture than it does to buy a similar sized work from 'off the wall' at an exhibition. In the rare event of reference material for a subject proving to be difficult to locate, then some negotiation may be required. Commissions can be tailored to suit your needs. The size/cost, subject, background, mounting and framing are all controlled by you to achieve the desired result. After the initial discussion I will produce a selection of sketched layouts, using your own ideas and/or photographs (if applicable). This gives you the opportunity to decide on the layout of the finished picture. When you have selected the one most suitable, I will begin work on the final piece. On completion I will send a print of the work for you to check, and if satisfactory we can make final decisions regarding the presentation (mount & frame) of the picture.
