As well as an animal artist I am also a qualified Dog Listener and I help dog owners who are experiencing problem behaviour from their dogs.
A museum and gallery dedicated to art in all forms, inspired by the natural world. I participate in their 'Artist in Residence' programme each year, working in the studio during one week. It gives me an opportunity to meet people who have an interest in wildlife art and for visitors to gain an insight into the processes involved in 'picture making'. Every week you will find a different artist at work here employing a variety of styles, media and techniques. My other association with the museum is my involvement in the Art Courses. This is a site for anyone with an interest in wonderful bird watching. WBK English promote birding, both in this country and in South Korea. They are actively involved conservation issues in South Korea and together we are marketing a new print from one of my acrylic paintings, 'Resting Baikal Teal', to draw attention to their work and hopefully raise some funds.
All my drawings are produced using Derwent graphite pencils. There are two main reasons for this: i) The pencils are of the highest quality. ii) They are manufactured in England. This wonderful centre offers a wide range of day and weekend courses for all interests and abilities. Farncombe Estate Centre is situated on the side of the Cotswolds on a beautiful 300-acre Estate.
